INGREDIENTS:
Apple Sauce:
Apple - 1(Peeled and Grated)
Sugar - 1/2 cup (as per your taste)
Cinnamon Powder - 1TSP
Dry Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 3/4 TSP
Baking Soda - 3/4 TSP
Wet Ingredients:
Oil - 1/2 cup ( I used Olive oil)
Milk - 1/2 Cup
Nuts:(optional)
Crushed Walnut & Pecans
HOW TO BAKE?
For Apple Sauce, in a pan add the grated apple, sugar, cinnamon and cook it in low flame until the sugar melts and it turns to thick sauce. Let it cool down.
Sieve the dry ingredients together and keep it ready.
Preheat the oven to 350`F.
Add oil and apple sauce in a bowl and mix until they combine well together.
Now, to the above mixture, add half of dry ingredients and 1/4th cup milk, mix well.
And add the rest of the dry ingredients and remaining 1/4th cup of milk, combine well.
Grease the baking pan with oil and pour the batter into it.
Add the crushed nuts on top of it.
Bake it for 20-25 minutes, till the tooth pick comes out clean.
Let it cool a little bit and loosen the edges and move it cooling rack.
